Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nute last Tuesday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Franklin Tornadoes came up short against the Portsmouth Christian Academy Eagles on Friday, falling 52-30. The match marked the Tornadoes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Franklin fell to 4-1. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin and Lincoln Academy will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Portsmouth Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Farmington at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
