 In what's become a running theme this season, Westbrook gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They blew past the Hermleigh Cardinals 13-1. The  win was nothing new for Westbrook as they're now sitting on six straight.
  Keegan Gilbreath made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Gilbreath has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Gilbreath was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Jaxson Browne was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.  Shawn Salazar was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Westbrook's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Hermleigh,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-8.
 Westbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hermleigh, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Roby at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hermleigh is facing Roby at the right time seeing as Roby is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
