Soccer Recap: East Columbus Takes a Loss

East Columbus was the 2-1 winner over Whiteville when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators fell 3-1 to the Wolfpack on Friday.

East Columbus has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Whiteville, their record now sits at 4-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Columbus will welcome Heide Trask at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Whiteville, they will host Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whiteville are facing Pender at the right time seeing as Pender are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
