Basketball Preview: Cary Academy Chargers vs. St. David's Warriors        
        
		
             Two dominant  guards in  McCoy Williams and  George Coleman are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Cary Academy Chargers will be playing at home against the St. David's Warriors  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Cary Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8  points per game  this season.
 Last Saturday, Cary Academy lost to Carmel Christian at home  by a   82-68 margin. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Aidan Rousseau, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and nine  rebounds. What's more,  he also racked up four  assists, the most he's  had since back in January.  Julian Tweedy was another key player,  going 5 for 6 en route to 17 points plus six  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Cary Academy was working as a unit and  finished the game with 19  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile,  a  win for St. David's just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a   90-43 loss at the hands of Trinity Academy. The Warriors have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Cary Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for St. David's, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-6.
 Everything came up roses for Cary Academy against St. David's in their previous meeting  back in December of 2021, as the  squad secured  a  68-32 victory. Will Cary Academy repeat their success,  or does  St. David's have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
