Basketball Game Preview: Perry Central Commodores vs. Pike Central Chargers

The Perry Central Commodores will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Pike Central Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pike Central took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Perry Central, who comes in off a win.

Perry Central is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Tell City. The Commodores simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Marksmen 72-41.

Meanwhile, Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against Forest Park, falling 74-32. The Chargers were down 56-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Perry Central will have to contain Nate Davis as he made an impact in Pike Central's last game. He posted 14 points.

Perry Central didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pike Central in their previous matchup back in March, but they still walked away with a 52-48 victory. Will the Commodores repeat their success, or do the Chargers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
