Basketball Game Preview: High Tech SD Storm vs. Foothills Christian Knights

The High Tech SD Storm will be taking part in a tournament against the Foothills Christian Knights at 7:55 p.m. on Monday. High Tech SD has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 173 points over their last three games.

High Tech SD's tournament run continued when they took on High Tech CV on Saturday. The Storm took their contest with ease, bagging a 56-23 victory over the Bruins.

Khalil Carrera had a dynamite game, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.2 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Sean Josiah, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 81-51, which was the final score in Foothills Christian's tilt against Oceanside on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, Foothills Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Joel Richards earned 27 points. Jack Sudi was another key player, putting up ten points.

Foothills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for High Tech SD, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
