Basketball Game Preview: Moody Blue Devils vs. Sardis Lions + How To Watch

The Moody Blue Devils will head out to take on the Sardis Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Moody can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Saturday. They were dealt a 51-17 defeat at the hands of Cherokee County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Devils have suffered since November 22, 2024.

Meanwhile, Sardis came up short against North Sand Mountain on Tuesday and fell 66-58. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly eight points.

Moody didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sardis when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 74-69 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
