Soccer Recap: Grantsville Comes Up Short

Grantsville and Manti squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Grantsville had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Templars. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Grantsville couldn't quite close it out.

Grantsville's defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Manti, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Grantsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Manti, they will square off against Juab at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
