Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Gets the Win

Whitewater had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Alexander Cougars by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2016.

Alexander now has a losing record of 1-2.

Whitewater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Union Grove on the 7th. As for Alexander, they will face off against Rockmart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
