Idalou has gone 8-2 against Slaton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Idalou Wildcats challenge the Slaton Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Idalou is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Idalou picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against Bells by a score of 54-47.

Meanwhile, Slaton unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to McKinney Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Mustangs are ranked 65th).

Idalou is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Slaton, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
