Vincent hadn't done well against Montevallo recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Everything went the Vincent Yellow Jackets' way against the Montevallo Bulldogs as the Vincent Yellow Jackets made off with a 15-0 win. The contest marked the Yellow Jackets' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Ava Reese Waldrop was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Newton, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.

Vincent's record now sits at 6-3. As for Montevallo, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vincent will face off against Shelby County at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Shelby County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Vincent surely won't give up without a fight. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
