Volleyball Game Preview: Lamar County Trojans vs. Spalding Jaguars

The Lamar County Trojans will head out to square off against the Spalding Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Lamar County is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Jackson just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Spalding came up short against Hampton on Monday, falling 3-0.

Spalding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Lamar County, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Lamar County was able to grind out a solid win over Spalding in their previous meeting back in August, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
