Soccer Recap: Cloverleaf Takes a Loss

Cloverleaf lost against Streetsboro back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colts fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 1-0. Cloverleaf have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cloverleaf's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-5-1. As for Streetsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Cloverleaf and Streetsboro should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Colts will take on Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (226 vs. 488). Meanwhile, Streetsboro (ranked 175th) will meet Coventry (ranked 518th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
