Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middletown Christian). They put the hurt on the Twin Valley South Panthers with a sharp 9-0 victory on Thursday. Considering Middletown Christian have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Twin Valley South with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caleb Skaggs (6), Mason Gross, Liam Lykins, and Landon Bates.

The win made it two in a row for Middletown Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those two matchups. As for Twin Valley South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Middletown Christian will challenge Fayetteville-Perry at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Twin Valley South, they will head out to challenge Carlisle at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
