Basketball Recap: Lincolnton Victorious

In Friday's Canine Competition, Lincolnton came out on top. They skirted past the Hough Huskies 66-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Josiah Guyton went supernova, going 10-for-16 to rack up 26 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Foster, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

Lincolnton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hough, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lincolnton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bessemer City at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Hough, they will venture away from home to face off against East Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
