Soccer Game Preview: South Panola vs. Center Hill + Official Tickets

South Panola hasn't had much luck against Center Hill recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. South Panola's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, South Panola didn't have quite enough to beat Olive Branch and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that South Panola have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Center Hill). Their defense stepped up to hand Lake Cormorant an 11-0 shutout on Friday. The result was nothing new for Center Hill, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lake Cormorant with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Megan Esfled (5), Mary-Magers Anderson (3), and Dylan Wildeman (3).

Center Hill is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four matches. As for South Panola, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

South Panola couldn't quite get it done against Center Hill when the teams last played back in January as they fell 2-0. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
