Basketball Recap: Sanderson Comes Up Short

Sanderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 29-19 to the Van Horn Eagles. The game marked Sanderson's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sanderson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Van Horn, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sanderson will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rankin at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. After both having extra time off, Van Horn and El Paso HomeSchool will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
