Boquet Valley is 5-0 against Crown Point since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Boquet Valley Griffins will head out to challenge the Crown Point Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Boquet Valley easily dispatched Willsboro Central on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Boquet Valley fell just short of Bolton Central by a score of 51-48 on Tuesday. While the Griffins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 17-9 in the first quarter.

Despite the defeat, Boquet Valley got top-tier performance from Claire Reynolds, who went 11 for 19 on her way to 30 points and three steals. That was a full 62.5% of Boquet Valley's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Hickey, who earned four points and 14 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Boquet Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Crown Point came into Wednesday's match having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Lake Placid by a score of 48-39 on Wednesday. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Crown Point's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Boquet Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Everything came up roses for Boquet Valley against Crown Point in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 76-24 victory. In that game, Boquet Valley amassed a halftime lead of 37-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
