If Marion was riding high fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Clarksville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Marion Patriots fell 7-3 to the Prairie Grove Tigers on Saturday. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Prairie Grove, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Marion didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 win against Booneville on the 15th. As for Prairie Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-3 victory against Bigelow on the 15th.
