Soccer Recap: Culver Academies Takes a Loss

Culver Academies lost against Carroll back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles came up short against the Chargers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Culver Academies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while Carroll are ranked fourth).

This is the second loss in a row for Culver Academies and nudges their season record down to 4-4-2. As for Carroll, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1-1.

Coming up, Culver Academies is taking a road trip to take on Valparaiso at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Valparaiso's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Culver Academies' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carroll, they will host Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
