Volleyball Recap: Clyde Takes a Loss

Clyde lost against Mohawk back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fliers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 3-2. While the Fliers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-17 in the first set.

While Clyde ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 13 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-18, 25-18, 18-25, 15-13.

Mohawk can attribute much of their success to Emma Weaver, who had nine digs and three aces.

Clyde's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Coincidentally, Clyde and Mohawk will both be playing Edison the next time they take the court. The Fliers will head out to face the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
