Basketball Recap: Danbury Takes a Loss

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 66-43 to the Sabine Pass Sharks.

Devin Roberts was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 12 on his way to 21 points and four steals for Sabine Pass. With that strong performance, Roberts is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game. Kelvion Harris was another key player, putting up ten points.

Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Sabine Pass, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Danbury will venture away from home to take on Deweyville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sabine Pass, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-41 win against Big Sandy on the 25th.
