Basketball Recap: Fort Dodge's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Fort Dodge played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They snuck past the Marshalltown Bobcats with a 58-52 victory. This was a revenge game for the Dodgers: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 56-31 defeat.

Fort Dodge's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Marshalltown, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Fort Dodge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 72-44 defeat against Ames on the 31st. Marshalltown has also already played their next contest, a 58-54 victory against Waterloo East on the 30th.
