Soccer Recap: Hallandale Takes a Loss

Hallandale lost against Boyd Anderson back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Hallandale Chargers might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Boyd Anderson Cobras an easy 3-0 victory. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Cobras are ranked 212th).

Hallandale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1. As for Boyd Anderson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-3 record this season.

Hallandale will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stranahan at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Boyd Anderson, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against McArthur on the 17th.
