Softball Recap: Western Hills Wolverines vs. Symmes Valley Vikings

Western Hills can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Symmes Valley Vikings as the Western Hills Wolverines made off with a 14-2 win. The victory was nothing new for Western Hills as they're now sitting on four straight.

Addison Watson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Western Hills got a massive performance out of Kylie Markin, who went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Presely Fell, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple.

The win got Western Hills back to even at 7-7. As for Symmes Valley, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Hills will take on Great Crossing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Symmes Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Huntington at 11:00 a.m.
