Seton Catholic had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the International Gryphons as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Gryphons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Jolie Scherschel paced Seton Catholic's offense, picking up 15 kills. Scherschel got some help from Taryn Tremain and her 16 assists. Tremain also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kayleigh Dudley, racking up six apiece.
Seton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Union on the 16th. As for International, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on the 27th.
