Swain County came tearing into Monday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Highlands Highlanders as they made off with a 6-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Swain County, who have now won seven games by three goals or more so far this season.

Mya Burrows-Kurr and Isabella Walker scored all six of Swain County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Swain County pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Highlands, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
