Volleyball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

If Lee was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Drury on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell just short of the Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Lee took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

Coming up, Lee will square off against Mohawk Trail Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Pioneer Valley Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Southwick Regional on the 16th.
