Baseball Recap: Sandusky Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Sandusky finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Perkins Pirates, falling 10-0. The Blue Streaks have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Sandusky's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-1. As for Perkins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sandusky will challenge rival Clyde at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Perkins is set to take on their familiar foe Bellevue at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
