The Cape Elizabeth Capers will square off against the Traip Rangers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cape Elizabeth is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5 goals per game this season.

Cape Elizabeth is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Greely, who was ranked 11th at the time (Cape Elizabeth was ranked second). The Capers blew past the Rangers 5-2 on Thursday. The score was close at halftime, but Cape Elizabeth pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit Greely with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hailey Gorman (2), Noelle Mallory (2), and Haisel McGeachey.

Meanwhile, Traip unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They and Freeport finished up their match with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Traip happy, as they haven't lost a game since October 1st.

Cape Elizabeth's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. Traip's draw makes their record 9-4-1 this season.
