J.F. Webb came tearing into Friday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 44-39 W against the Seaforth Hawks.

Daniel Wright threw for 57 yards. Elijah Thorpe was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Mikelis Hobgood rushed for 228 yards and three scores while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.

Despite the loss, Seaforth still got an impressive performance from Duncan Parker, who threw for 238 yards and four TDs, and also punched in a pair of touchdowns on the ground. Parker's passing game has become a key predictor of the Hawks' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-4 otherwise. Mason Pooley also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

J.F. Webb's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Seaforth, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
