Fayetteville Academy extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Brady Barnes. The Fayetteville Academy Eagles blew past the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls 77-54 on Saturday thanks in part to Barnes, who posted 28 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why E.E. Smith lost, don't look at Tre Williams. Despite the final result, he had 26 points and seven boards. The matchup was Williams' 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cassell Cruickshank, who put up eight points and ten rebounds.

Fayetteville Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for E.E. Smith, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-5.

Fayetteville Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Terry Sanford at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 contests -- so hopefully Terry Sanford likes a good challenge. As for E.E.
