Soccer Recap: Evansville Day Starts Season with Win at Home

Evansville Day gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They blew past Varsity Opponent 4-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Evansville Day also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

They hit Varsity Opponent with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eli Kunst (2), Nicholas Goulbourne, and Landon Black.

Looking ahead, Evansville Day will challenge Pike Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Varsity Opponent has already played their next game (against Culver Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
