Softball Recap: Bishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bishop Carroll's offense. They came up short against the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers on Thursday, falling 16-0. The Huskies' loss continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row dating back to last season.

Bishop Carroll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adelyn Myers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Westmont Hilltop has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bishop Carroll will square off against rival Bald Eagle Area at 4:30 p.m. on April 11. Meanwhile, Westmont Hilltop is set to face off against their familiar foe Greater Johnstown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
