Softball Recap: Roosevelt Eagles vs. Littlefield Wildcats
Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the Littlefield Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-6 back in March.
Kat Rodriguez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Littlefield, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.
Coincidentally, Roosevelt and Littlefield will both be playing Slaton the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
