Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alpha Omega Academy). They blew past the Second Baptist University-Model Eagles 19-8 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Alpha Omega Academy's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-10-1. As for Second Baptist University-Model, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alpha Omega Academy will square off against St. Joseph Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Joseph Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Alpha Omega Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Second Baptist University-Model, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alpha Omega Academy at 3:00 p.m. on April 4.
