Baseball Recap: Millard North Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Millard South

Millard North faced Millard South in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 7-6. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by just one run.

Marcus Hankins made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three RBI. Tanner Evans also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Millard North is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4. As for Millard South, their record now sits at 12-3.
