It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heritage Hills had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Mt. Vernon Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Heritage Hills found their leader in sophomore Kyra Bell, who had 12 digs.

Despite the loss, Mt. Vernon still got an impressive performance from Hannah McNeece, who had 14 digs and two aces. McNeece is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

Heritage Hills' victory bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Mt. Vernon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-18.
