Baseball Recap: Salome Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Salome had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 15-0 to the Bagdad Sultans on Tuesday. The Frogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Sultans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Bagdad and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Salome will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Anthem Prep at 3:00 p.m. on March 17th. As for Bagdad, they will challenge Antelope at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
