Soccer Recap: Compton Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Compton after they claimed the first goal on Friday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Cabrillo Jaguars by a score of 2-1. Compton's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

The loss was their first on the road, dropping their record down to 2-8-2. As for Cabrillo, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 7-5-1.
