Lafayette entered their tilt with Gloucester on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 57-7 win over the Dukes. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Dukes are ranked 293rd).

Lafayette's record now sits at 7-1. As for Gloucester, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Lafayette will host York at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gloucester, they will challenge Tabb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
