Baseball Game Preview: Holbrook Roadrunners vs. Winslow Bulldogs

Holbrook hasn't had much luck against Winslow recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Roadrunners will look to defend their home field against the Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Holbrook came up short against Blue Ridge on Tuesday, falling 9-2. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holbrook saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Maestas, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Winslow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 20-0 to Kingman.

Holbrook's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Winslow, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15-1.
