After losing to Saucon Valley the last time they met, Notre Dame-Green Pond decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Crusaders came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers on Friday, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted against the Panthers since April 4, 2022.

The team relied heavily on Austin Casal, who went 3-for-4 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Silvius, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Notre Dame-Green Pond hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matches.

Notre Dame-Green Pond's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Saucon Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.
