Softball Recap: Glencoe's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Glencoe and Tualatin squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Glencoe had to settle for second. They came up short against the Timberwolves, falling 7-1. The Crimson Tide were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Makena Petrick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Glencoe's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-8. As for Tualatin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Glencoe nor Tualatin have any future games scheduled.
