Soccer Game Preview: Chowchilla vs. Parlier

The Chowchilla Tribe are taking a road trip to challenge the Parlier Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Chowchilla is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Chowchilla took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over Sierra. It was an even better day for David Perez-Borges as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Parlier fell victim to Liberty and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 1-0.

Parlier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chowchilla, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-3.

Chowchilla came out on top in a nail-biter against Parlier in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Does Chowchilla have another victory up their sleeve, or will Parlier turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
