Football Recap: Logan Roxby Leads Windber's Defense on Friday + How To Watch

Windber won the last time they faced Berlin Brothersvalley and things went their way on Friday too. The Ramblers secured a 14-10 W over the Mountaineers.

Windber found their leader in freshman Ike Serenko, who rushed for 134 yards and one score while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Those 134 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Serenko.

Windber's run defense was locked in: Berlin Brothersvalley could only muster 2.5 yards per carry. While one picked up at least three total tackles, Serenko stood above the rest. He rushed for 134 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Windber didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.6.

Windber's defense didn't let Brady Janidlo, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Logan Roxby was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Despite the loss, Berlin Brothersvalley still got an impressive performance from Carson Janidlo, who picked up 129 receiving yards and one TD.

Windber is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.8 points on average over those games. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4.
