While Pillow Academy's victory against Heritage Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Patriots 3-2 on Monday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Pillow Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Heritage Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-20, 25-12, 23-25, 22-20.

The victory got Pillow Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pillow Academy will host West Memphis Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Winston Academy at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Winston Academy has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
