Volleyball Recap: Cheylin Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cheylin walked away with it. They came out on top against the Thunder Ridge Longhorns by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

While Cheylin might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Thunder Ridge scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Taylor McCarty paced Cheylin's offense, picking up 12 kills. McCarty got some help from Ashlyn Schields and her 27 assists.

Cheylin's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for Thunder Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-21.

As of now, neither Cheylin nor the Longhorns have any future games scheduled.
