While Clovis West's victory against Edison wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Golden Eagles skirted past the Tigers 6-4. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2019.
Aliya Swillis tossed a big game, pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Madelyn Johnston, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Alexis Busch was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
