Bulloch Academy piles up the points against St. Andrew's

The Bulloch Academy Gators waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Andrew 48-15 at home. Bulloch Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ashantay Noble, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bulloch Academy's points. Brylie Ray was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.

Bulloch Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for St. Andrew's, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Frederica Academy is ranked 140th, while the Gators are ranked 124th). As for St. Andrew's, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Savannah Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
